Job Description

As a Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Role in Nashville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence in accordance with post orders and applicable regulations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor entrances, exits, movement, and/or restricted areas, document observations and incidents, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, client representatives, and/or public officials.
• Support access control, credential verification, and visitor processing while maintaining professional interactions and following location-specific procedures and reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• An armed guard card/license is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
