As a Security Officer Armed Driver Route Patrol in Nashville, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer in a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. This is an armed and driving post for professionals who are agile, reliable, and innovative, and who bring integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or authorized personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including situations that may require an armed presence and close coordination with site leadership and/or public sector personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, controlled access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials and/or permissions, and document unusual activity, incidents, and/or observations in accordance with site procedures.
• Support order at the location by following post instructions, maintaining awareness of surroundings, and communicating clearly with supervisors, staff, and/or emergency responders during routine operations and elevated situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
