Registered Nurse - Psychiatric (Nursing)
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Psychiatric Nursing. The ideal candidate will provide patient-centered care in a supportive environment, focused on mental health and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients' mental health conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitor patients' behavior and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Administer medications and provide education on their effects and uses.
- Facilitate therapeutic groups and patient education sessions.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current and active RN license in New Hampshire or a Compact RN license.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Psychiatric Nursing.
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Certification in Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) or Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB) is required.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
The Registered Nurse may be required to float to other facilities within the region as needed.
This position is located in Laconia, NH.
