Public Sector Account Executive - Higher Ed

About the Role This Account Executive will focus on selling UKG HCM SaaS deployments to university and college accounts, with a hunter focus on net new logos. The role requires consultative selling skills to understand customer business requirements and recommend the best UKG software solutions to meet those objectives. Primary Responsibilities Consistently exceed sales quotas. Demonstrate proven success selling HRMS/Payroll solutions to complex organizations. Maintain a working knowledge of solutions, technology, and capabilities to solve customer challenges and help them achieve stated business outcomes. Present HCM products and services to final decision makers and end users within an assigned territory. Identify sales opportunities and develop sales and marketing proposals for customers on HCM, Payroll solutions and services aligned with prospective customer needs. Maintain strong knowledge of the HCM/SaaS industry, competitors, and analysts. Exhibit excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills. Incorporate technical advances into presentations to end users. Display strong organizational skills. Employ a diversity of prospecting strategies. About You Minimum of 3–5 years of proven success selling ERP or HCM/Payroll solutions. State and local sales experience. Preferred Qualifications Higher Education software experience. Organized and detail‑oriented. Familiarity with the Higher Education business climate for universities. Excellent negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills. Strong problem‑solving skills. Keen work ethic with high integrity, honesty, and commitment to self and others. BA/BS or equivalent degree. Travel Up to 50% Pay Transparency The base salary for this position is $110,000.00 annually, with the opportunity to significantly increase total earnings through a performance‑based incentive compensation plan. The plan may provide for the payment of commissions and restricted stock unit awards as part of total compensation.
