Job Overview Location: UCHealth UCHlth Anschutz Inpt Pavilion, Aurora, CO Department: Wound Care Schedule: Full Time, 72 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift: Days Pay: $38.91 – $60.31 per hour (dependent on experience) Note: This is an onsite role with no hybrid or remote option. Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to patients with wounds and ostomies using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and the organization’s policies, values, and mission. Plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans based on assessment to optimize outcomes and maximize resources. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate, collaborating across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfer, discharge, referral, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluate learning needs of patient and/or family and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Effectively delegate patient care to ancillary personnel and may precept student nurses and new hires. Utilize critical thinking, decisive judgement, and work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment, taking appropriate action as needed. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited or state‑board‑approved Registered/Professional Nursing program. State licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN). Minimum 2 years of nursing experience. BLS or CPR (American Heart Association or American Red Cross) card valid through 60 days of hire.
