Sales ManagerPosition OverviewWe are seeking a results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our sales efforts. The Sales Manager will own sales strategy, manage a high-performing team, build customer relationships, and drive revenue growth across assigned markets. This role requires strong sales acumen, leadership, and the ability to develop business opportunities in both domestic and export channels. Experience in business development, metals, or exports is a plus.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets and market share goals.Lead, coach, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team objectives; hire and onboard new sales staff as needed.Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and market research.Maintain and grow relationships with key accounts; act as primary point of contact for major customers and strategic partners.Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics; analyze results and adjust plans to optimize outcomes.Collaborate with operations, logistics, and product teams to ensure customer requirements are met and deliveries are successful, especially for export orders.Manage pricing, contract negotiations, and proposals to maximize margin while meeting customer needs.Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and meetings to promote products and gather market intelligence.QualificationsExperience as a Sales Manager, leading a team of 5 peopleProven experience in sales with at least 5+ years in a sales role and demonstrated success meeting targetsStrong knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management, CRM systems, and forecasting.Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with a track record of coaching and developing sales teams.Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders at all levels.Comfortable working with cross-functional teams to coordinate sales, logistics, and fulfillment, including export documentation and procedures.It is a plus if you have:Sales experience in the metal industryExposure to export markets and international tradeProficiency in Hindi, Bengali, Punjabi or other South Asian languagesBenefitsMedicalDental Vision Life Insurance401K matchingTuition ReimbursementPaid Time Off
