Sheehy Ford of Springfield is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Automotive Sales Manager / Team Captain to lead and manage a dedicated team of 5–10 Sales Consultants. This true player-coach role offers full accountability for team performance, with 100% of compensation tied directly to team results. Ideal candidates are competitive, entrepreneurial leaders passionate about building a winning team and growing a long-term book of business in Springfield, VA.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and manage a defined team of 5–10 Sales Consultants


• Own team performance across gross profit, volume, customer satisfaction, and key KPIs


• Actively sell new and used vehicles and lead from the front


• Recruit, hire, train, and develop top-performing sales talent


• Set daily, weekly, and monthly performance expectations and hold the team accountable


• Ensure consistent execution of dealership sales processes and CRM discipline


• Deliver a strong customer experience and maintain high CSI standards


• Serve as a strong closer with the ability to coach others

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of Automotive Sales Management experience


• Proven success in auto retail sales


• Demonstrated leadership ability to mentor and train others


• Excellent communication and customer service skills


• Passion for training sales team members and fostering a collaborative environment


• Enthusiastic personality with a high-energy attitude


• Ability to boost morale during the sales workday and improve profitability


• Strong organization and follow-up skills


• Authorized to work in the USA


• Ability to pass pre-employment background check, Motor Vehicle Record check, and drug test


• Must have a valid driver’s license
