Job DescriptionRegistered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical$20,000 Sign-on Bonus with two (2) year commitment to that role. Open to external applicants who have not been previously employed by CMC in the last rolling 9 months.Status/FTE: FT / 0.8-1.0Shift length: 12 hoursStart Time: 0700Unit: Med/SurgSchedule Requirements (including weekends, holidays): Three (3) 12-hour shifts per week. Every third weekend, Holidays per contractRequired qualifications:Current state RN licenseAssociate's degree from an accredited nursing schoolBLS for Healthcare Provider upon hireACLS and NIHSS within three (3) months of hireOne (1) year of acute care experiencePreferred qualifications:BSN preferredTwo (2) to Three (3) years of acute care experienceMed/Surg certificationAdditional Information/Department information: The RN utilizes the nursing process in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of acute patients from admission to the department through discharge or transfer. Provides expert care and education to patients in the clinical setting, acts as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel. Knowledgeable in clinical nursing procedures, disease processes, interventions, and pharmacological agents.
