Responsibilities
- Perform radiographic imaging procedures (X-ray exams) according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
- Properly identify patients, verify consent where required, and position them to optimize image quality while ensuring patient comfort.
- Operate radiology equipment safely, monitor exposure, and apply radiation protection principles to protect patients and staff (ALARA).
- Ensure images meet diagnostic quality standards; document procedures, label images accurately, and communicate findings to the radiologist and care team as appropriate.
- Maintain equipment and room readiness, assist with basic patient care as needed, and follow infection control and safety policies in a busy ED/hospital setting.

Requirements
- Current radiology technologist license as required by state regulations.
- ARRT certification in Radiography (or eligibility) preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts and travel assignment (Fri–Sun, 7:00 pm–7:00 am) and adapt to a 10-week schedule with guaranteed hours.
- Ability to work effectively in a hospital-based emergency department environment and collaborate with a diverse clinical team.
- Strong patient-care and communication skills; commitment to safety, accuracy, and high-quality imaging.
- Willingness to comply with site policies and documentation requirements.
