Physical Therapist or Physical Therapist Assistant

Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides skilled therapeutic care to patients with neuromuscular, skeletal, integumentary, pulmonary, and cardiovascular disorders. This role involves assessing patient conditions, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with healthcare providers to improve and restore patient function. The position requires a current Colorado Physical Therapy license and Basic Life Support certification, with a focus on delivering compassionate and effective rehabilitation services in a rural healthcare setting. Responsibilities:

• Observe and evaluate patient treatment effects and recommend changes to physicians or other staff as needed.
• Perform appropriate assessments on patients to determine therapy needs.
• Provide care to individuals with various disorders including neuromuscular, skeletal, integumentary, pulmonary, and cardiovascular.
• Select and implement appropriate therapeutic procedures to maintain, improve, and restore patient functions.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Required Skills & Certifications:

• Current Colorado Physical Therapy license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to perform patient assessments and implement therapeutic interventions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Willingness to relocate to a rural area.
