Lead Software EngineerSoftware Engineers within Publicis Media concentrate on the development, implementation, and ongoing innovation of world-class leading engineering products, business analytics, and next-generation technologies. The Lead Software Engineer we seek to join our team will be on point for web application design, development, implementation, and ongoing support. Your ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, including enhancements and new project development, will be critical to successfully delivering end products. The design and development of these applications require a collaborative spirit to partner with the broader engineering team while partnering on different infrastructure layers.Responsibilities:Translating application storyboards and use cases into functional applicationsThe design, build, and maintenance of efficient, reusable, and reliable C# codeIntegration with 3rd party APIs for data consumptionIntegration with data storage solutions such as SQL ServerEnsuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applicationsIdentifying bottlenecks and bugs, devising solutions to mitigate and address these issuesIntegration of the front-end and back-end aspects of the web applicationCollaboration with other team members and stakeholdersQualifications:A self-starting sense of urgency with an eye to commitment of quality and professionalism.Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating visually appealing interfaces that enhance the user experience.Strength in ASP.Net MVC, C#,.NET CoreStrong understanding of JavaScript, Node, React, and Vue.jsKnowledge and understanding of JS frameworksKnowledge of Entity Framework, OWIN, IoC, and WebAPIStrong knowledge of writing and consuming REST APIsStrong knowledge of relational databases such as MS SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgresGood knowledge of MVC and MVVM patternsProficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GitBachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is preferred5-7 years of development experienceAdditional Information:Our Publicis Groupe motto "Viva La Différence" means we're better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
