Java Developer, Junior
VistalTech Inc
We’re looking for an experienced Java Developer to build and support modern applications in an AWS environment. This role is a good fit for someone who enjoys developing microservices, designing APIs, and collaborating across the full stack with Java, Spring Boot, and React. Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot. Build and integrate REST APIs and support reliable service-to-service communication. Develop user-facing features with React and connect them to backend services. Deploy, monitor, and support applications running in AWS. Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews. Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to performance, reliability, and security improvements. Work with product managers, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams throughout the development lifecycle. Qualifications Extensive professional experience as a Java Developer. Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices. Experience designing and consuming REST APIs. Experience working with React. Experience building or supporting applications in AWS. Familiarity with Git, automated testing, and CI/CD practices. Strong problem-solving and communication skills. Experience in financial services or enterprise environments is a plus.
