Job Summary: The role of Controller functions as the central clearing house for all data and information for the local operation and the customer. In this role, the controller must maintain consistent and professional communication with warehouse operations, ramp operations, 3rd‑party trucking providers and the customer through phone calls and updates in the customers proprietary computer system. The successful controller will be a subject matter expert in the customers standard work manual and use this as a guide to drive required communications. Examples of communications include notice of flight/linehaul delays, operational escalations and consumable inventories. Responsibilities Maintain inbound and outbound trucks activity logs. Professionally handle inbound and outbound calls. Monitor inbound and outbound flights, providing real‑time updates to leadership. Adapt to constant changes in procedures. Create and send reports on time “in the loop”. Able to work under pressure and as part of a team. Knowledgeable of Amazon Logistics System. Be willing to work and be trained in all aspects of the operation. Detail oriented, flexible with ability to follow instructions in a fluid environment. Exceptional communication skills. Complete additional tasks or assignments by management. Minimum Requirements Good customer service skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) is preferred. Warehouse experience preferred. GWAM of 35+ words per minute. Preferred Skills Knowledge of Amazon Logistics System. Experience with warehouse logistics. Excellent written and verbal communication. Physical Requirements / Working Conditions Must be able to lift 50 to 70 lbs. Must be able to work in inclement weather. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
