Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Intermediate Care for a travel nursing job in Utica, New York. The position starts on October 5, 2026, and runs through January 9, 2027, requiring adaptability to float across units and proficiency in clinical equipment and protocols. Job Details Position Description: IMCU RN for Nights shift at a healthcare facility with a 64-bed unit, including 15 designated neuro beds. Required Qualifications: Valid NY Registered Nurse license, current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; Epic Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience; up-to-date resume with 2 years of IMCU/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience and documented travel experience; valid drivers license matching demographics. Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week. Additional Information: The unit manages patients with diagnoses such as COPD, diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA), sepsis, myocardial infarction, cardiovascular step-down, and post-operative care; utilizes specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, Bipap, and Neptune Vapo; chronic ventilator care with RT assistance; float rotation may be required.
