The Program Manager partners with senior leadership across Engineering, Program Management, Finance, and Business Operations to establish scalable planning frameworks, enforce data integrity, and deliver actionable insights that enable confident portfolio decisions.This position requires strong program leadership, deep expertise in resource capacity management, and the ability to influence global stakeholders to adopt standardized tools and processes (e.g., Tempus Resource) that improve visibility into demand, capacity, and execution readiness.What Will You Do?-Own and lead the global resource capacity management program, including strategy, roadmap, governance, and executionDrive enterprise adoption and standardization of resource planning tools and processes across engineering organizationsAct as the “voice of the customer” by translating customer needs into our digital capabilities, tools, and business operationsPartner with senior engineering and business leaders to align demand, capacity, and workforce planning to business priorities and long-term strategyEstablish and enforce global planning cadences (monthly, quarterly, long-range), ensuring consistency and accountability across organizationsProvide executive-level insights into capacity vs. demand, utilization trends, and portfolio risks to support decision-makingLead scenario planning and trade-off analysis to optimize resource allocation across competing priorities and programsIdentify structural capacity gaps (skills, geography, labor types) and partner with leadership on hiring, redeployment, or outsourcing strategiesEnsure high data integrity across all resource planning systems, including resource attributes, project demand, and allocation dataDrive integration of resource planning with financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and headcount planningLead cross-functional programs to improve planning efficiency, automation, and reporting capabilitiesChampion continuous improvement of tools, workflows, and data models to scale with organizational growthLead global change management efforts, including training, communications, and stakeholder alignmentServe as a subject matter expert for resource capacity management and planning methodologiesEnsure compliance with Jabil policies related to safety, quality, and data securityHow will you get there? -Education : Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is requiredExperience: 8–12 years of experience in Program Management, PMO leadership, Engineering Operations, or Resource Planning is requiredKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Demonstrated experience leading global, cross-functional programs with senior stakeholder engagementDeep expertise in resource capacity management, demand forecasting, and workforce planningStrong analytical capability with experience translating complex data into strategic insightsProven experience with enterprise planning or portfolio management tools (e.g., Tempus Resource, Planview, Adaptive, similar platforms)Strong communication and executive presence with ability to influence at all organizational levelsEnterprise program leadership and strategyResource capacity planning & demand managementExecutive communication and influenceData-driven decision-making and analyticsProcess standardization and scalingChange management and transformation leadershipCross-functional alignment at global scaleAbility to travel up to 10% as requiredPreferred Qualifications:Experience leading enterprise-wide tool deployments or digital transformation initiativesStrong understanding of capacity metrics such as base capacity, net capacity, allocation, and availabilityExperience aligning engineering resource planning with financial and long-range planning processesPMP, PgMP , or equivalent certification is a plusExperience in large-scale engineering or technology organizationsWORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSOffice or remote environment will be consideredAbility to operate effectively across global time zones and organizationsHiring Salary range: $105,100- 147,200 - $189, 200 USD AnnualBE AWARE OF FRAUD: When applying for a job at Jabil you will be contacted via correspondence through our official job portal with a jabil.com e-mail address; direct phone call from a member of the Jabil team; or direct e-mail with a jabil.com e-mail address.
