• Valid Michigan Teaching Certification
• Master's Degree Preferred
• Experience in group facilitation and/or training
• Proven ability to build and leverage relationships with diverse audiences and partners
• Demonstrated ability to plan strategically, prioritize time, and manage implementation plans in fast-moving, changeable environments
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong computer and technology skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google docs, and interest in and ability to learn new platforms

Job Description

The Student and Family Engagement Specialist will provide a wide-range of academic and social-emotional services for students and their families. The Student and Family Engagement Specialist will collaborate with other members of the school community to facilitate academic support, training, engagement opportunities, and goal setting with students and families. They will also collaborate with the department of teaching and learning, family engagement team, counselors, instructional staff, families, district and school leaders, administrators, and others to identify the support needed for students and families.

Beginning Date: August 25, 2026

New hires will be required to attend a three-day orientation August 19-21, 2026

Salary: PCEA Salary Schedule - commensurate with experience
