Position Description Ryder is hiring a non-CDL truck driver in Syracuse, NY, offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a rewarding driving career. Pay & Schedule Weekly Pay: $950-$1150 Hours: 40+ hours per week Solo Miles Pay: $0.40 per mile Solo Stops Pay: $12.00 per stop Paid training Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends Start Time: 6:00 – 7:00 AM Route & Equipment Deliver SOLO to 120 mile radius of Syracuse Route: Local Home Daily Truck Type: Box Truck – 16', 22', 26' Equipment: Pallet Jack, Lift Gate, Hand Truck Freight: Touch – Auto Parts Ryder will train you on all necessary equipment Benefits Medical, Dental & Vision after 30 days 80 hours PTO first year, starting day 1 Uniforms, cell phone, boot allowance provided Drivers are the Captain – you make safety decisions, job protected 401(k) rollover and company match after 1 year 12 weeks paid maternity leave (subject to eligibility) Employee discounts on tools, vehicles, travel, tech & more Requirements Minimum 21 years of age Minimum 6 months verifiable driving experience Pass a Ryder drug test Valid driver's license Background check, DOT physical, Ryder road test Ability to follow written or oral instructions and interpret laws, rules, regulations Responsibilities Safely drive a vehicle within assigned routes while complying with safety regulations Maintain compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules and standards Detect and mitigate safety hazards Maintain accurate records; load/unload freight as required Provide excellent customer service Other tasks as assigned Ryder is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer and a drug‑free workplace.
