Director of Operations

Our client is an established and quickly growing Wealth Management Firm with an existing team and resources in place. This person could come from the firm ops side of the business, or even an advisor who would like to focus more heavily in day in/day out team ops and management. No business development involved in this role! This person must understand how a wealth management team operates, and have some experience managing others in the office. This is a newly created role due to growth. Director of Operations (Manhattan Beach - Hybrid): Must be willing to be on site 3x a week (2x a week from home) Must have excellent communication and management skills Must have experience working within a wealth management company (RIA, broker/dealer, wirehouse, etc) Will oversee and analyze team-wide operations, systems, and workflows Will lead and coordinate across all verticals including client service, compliance, marketing, HR, etc Must have a clean U4 (no disclosures) Opportunities for growth and development towards a COO role are possible Salary range is likely to be around $150k-$170k all in + benefits, PTO, etc They have a great corporate culture, and provide their team with terrific work/life balance and flexibility. This person will have a seat within the leadership team day 1, and will instantly impact operations. As mentioned above, this person could come from a few areas within wealth management/financial services including firm ops, the advisor route, or other functionalities.
