About the Role
The Company is in search of a General Manager/Chief Operating Officer to lead its premier private club. The successful candidate will be a trusted leader with a proven track record in private clubs, hospitality, or luxury service environments. This role is pivotal in the club's strategic evolution, requiring a focus on operational excellence, long-term capital planning, and the enhancement of the member experience. The General Manager/COO will be responsible for financial stewardship, operational discipline, and the elevation of food and beverage quality. Team leadership and organizational culture are also key priorities, with an emphasis on building a cohesive, service-oriented team and maintaining a strong, member-centric, and hospitality-minded culture. Candidates for this position should have a background in general management or senior hospitality leadership, with experience in food and beverage operations, and a strong understanding of the unique economics of private clubs. The role demands a leader who is member-centric, financially disciplined, and team-oriented, with the ability to balance tradition with innovation. Experience in a seasonal club or resort environment is preferred, as is a background in multi-department operational leadership and capital project oversight. The ideal candidate will be a strategic yet operationally grounded individual, with excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and a commitment to the long-term health and mission of the club. Success will be measured through member satisfaction, staff retention, dining quality, budget performance, and the stability of the leadership team.
