Objetivo Principal de la Posición del Asistente de LavanderíaPara mantener la condición de toda las sabanas y mantelería de hotel de acuerdo con los estándares de Bartell Hotels a través de una limpieza y procesamiento eficiente.
Responsabilidades
- Asegura la máxima eficacia de limpieza clasificando la ropa antes del lavado de acuerdo con el tipo de tela, color, articulo o concentración de suciedad
- Retira de la ropa dañada y/o manchada antes de cargar las lavadoras
- Asegura la máxima capacidad de carga pesando ropa de cama antes del lavado
- Carga las lavadoras y secadoras a los pesos recomendados
- Ahorra energía configurando secadoras para tiempos de calentamiento y enfriamiento adecuados
- Coloca únicamente ropa de cama adecuada en la secadora para secarla
- Opera, mantiene y limpia la ropa y el equipo de acuerdo con los estándares de la compañía
- Informa al supervisor o la administración de cualquier falla mecánica o escasez de suministros, por lo que se pueden implementar acciones correctivas
- Ayuda a entregar ropa a los armarios y áreas de almacenamiento
- Minimiza los riesgos de seguridad al seguir todas las reglas y procedimientos de seguridad
- Mantiene al supervisor inmediato informado de todos los problemas o asuntos inusuales de importancia
Se puede asignar otros deberes según sea necesario
Demandas Físicas y Ambiente de Trabajo
Mientras realiza los deberes de este trabajo, se requiere que el empleado se pare regularmente; camine; use las manos para tocar con los dedos, manejar o sentir; alcanzar con las manos y los brazos; hablar o escuchar y probar u oler. Debe poder subir y bajar un tramo de escaleras mientras carga hasta 25 libras de peso. Con frecuencia se requiere que el empleado trepe, se balancee y se incline, se arrodille, se agache o gatee. El empleado debe levantar y/o mover hasta 50 libras con frecuencia. Mientras realiza los deberes de este trabajo, el empleado a veces está expuesto a condiciones climáticas externas y frecuentemente expuesto a partes mecánicas en movimiento. El nivel de ruido en el ambiente de trabajo generalmente es ruidoso.
