Power BI Developer / Business Analytics Consultant

Job DescriptionInfosys is seeking a Power BI Developer / Business Analytics Consultant to support executive reporting, business proposal analytics, and enterprise dashboard development initiatives across Americas operations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in business intelligence, Power BI, data visualization, KPI development, reporting automation, and analytics-driven decision support within aerospace and manufacturing environments.The candidate will work closely with business leaders, proposal teams, operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to develop executive dashboards, automate business reporting, and deliver actionable insights that support strategic decision-making. You will be instrumental in transforming complex business data into meaningful visualizations, standardized KPI frameworks, and scalable reporting solutions.You will design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and analytics platforms while driving reporting standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also support leadership reviews, business performance tracking, forecasting, and proposal analytics programs that contribute to organizational growth and operational excellence.Required QualificationsCandidate can be located anywhere in the U.S. This position will require travel to project locations as needed.Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related field required. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.Minimum 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, dashboard development, or related fields.Strong experience designing and developing enterprise dashboards and executive reporting solutions.Experience automating business reporting processes and implementing scalable analytics solutions.Experience working with business stakeholders to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and performance metrics.Strong understanding of data modeling, data visualization, and business intelligence best practices.Experience presenting analytical findings and business recommendations to leadership teams.Ability to standardize reporting methodologies and KPI frameworks across business functions.Technical ExpertiseAdvanced Microsoft Excel.Power BI Dashboard Development.SQL Development and Data Analysis.Tableau Reporting and Visualization.Data Analytics and Business Intelligence.KPI Development and Performance Measurement.Forecasting and Predictive Analysis.Data Storytelling and Executive Reporting.Reporting Automation and Process Optimization.Business Performance Analytics.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop executive reporting and business proposal metrics dashboards.Automate existing business proposal reporting processes and workflows.Design and implement Power BI dashboards supporting Americas operations.Develop reporting solutions similar to successful analytics programs delivered for major aerospace customers.Standardize KPI definitions, reporting methodologies, and dashboard formats across the organization.Analyze operational and business performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.Drive continuous improvement through automation, advanced analytics, and scalable business intelligence solutions.Present data-driven insights and recommendations to management to support strategic decision-making and business growth initiatives.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across dashboards and reporting platforms.Industry ExperienceExperience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:Aerospace IndustryManufacturing OperationsProposal Management and Business DevelopmentRFQ-to-Award AnalyticsBusiness Performance ReportingExecutive Management ReportingOperations AnalyticsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience working with large data sets and multiple reporting sources.Ability to communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.Preferred QualificationsExperience supporting aerospace or manufacturing organizations.Experience building RFQ-to-Award performance reporting and proposal analytics dashboards.Knowledge of KPI framework design and executive scorecard development.Experience implementing enterprise-wide reporting standardization initiatives.Strong stakeholder management and presentation skills.Experience supporting strategic planning, forecasting, and operational reviews.Ability to work independently and manage multiple reporting initiatives simultaneously.Experience with data governance and reporting best practices..The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.Should be able to communicate by telephone, email, and face-to-face.
