Alloy Personal Training Bearden is hiring part-time and substitute personal trainers to coach sessions with no more than six clients at a time.

This is personal training delivered in a small-group setting—not a group fitness class. Although members train together, each person may have a different fitness level, goal, limitation, or injury history. Trainers must actively coach every individual and adapt exercises, resistance, range of motion, and movement progressions as needed.

Our trainers do more than call out exercises and expect members to follow along. They demonstrate movements, observe each member’s form, provide hands-on coaching and clear verbal cues, and make real-time adjustments so every client can train safely and successfully.

We primarily serve adults ages 40 and older, including beginners who may feel nervous or uncertain about getting started. Empathy, encouragement, attention to detail, and strong communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coach safe, effective personal training sessions with up to six clients

• Individualize exercises for different abilities, goals, and physical limitations within the same session

• Demonstrate exercises and appropriate adaptations using proper form

• Closely observe members and provide clear, timely coaching and corrections

• Select appropriate resistance, range of motion, and movement progressions for each individual

• Build rapport and trust with members

• Track attendance and follow studio procedures

• Motivate, support, and educate members as they work toward their goals

• Help maintain a clean, welcoming, and professional studio

• Be a dependable, positive, and team-oriented presence

Qualifications

• Accredited personal training or group fitness certification
• 2+ years experience with personal training or fitness coaching

• Ability to coach multiple individuals simultaneously while providing personalized attention

• Physical ability to safely demonstrate the exercises and adaptations used during training sessions

• Strong understanding of proper exercise form, movement progressions, and modifications

• CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain certification before the start date

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Punctual, dependable, professional, and team-oriented

• Comfortable coaching adults who may have physical limitations or low confidence with exercise

• Availability for early-morning, evening, and/or Saturday shifts
