Job Opportunity – Cardiothoracic Surgery NP/PA – Indiana

Start Date: September 14, 2024

Location: Indiana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM with night call coverage 4:00 PM – 7:00 AM; 24-hour weekend call Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM

Highlights:

• Work alongside experienced Cardiothoracic Surgeons in the operating room as first assist
• OR-focused role with vein harvesting using the Maquet system
• Average patient volume: 10 outpatient, 5-8 inpatient daily
• EPIC electronic medical record system
• Multiple blocks of coverage available from September through December
• Locum assignment with conversion opportunity available

Requirements:

• Active Indiana state license (required at time of submission)
• NCCPA certification (for Physician Assistants)
• Proven experience in Cardiothoracic Surgery; new graduates will not be considered
• Demonstrated proficiency in Maquet vein harvesting technique
• COVID-19 vaccination documentation
• Current NPDB self-query report (within 30 days)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Ability to cover most or all of the requested date blocks
