About the Job
We're looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Assembly Technician to join our team. In this role, you'll assemble parts and components for precision aerospace products while following quality standards and customer requirements.
What You'll Do
- Assemble complex parts and components according to work instructions
- Use precision measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, indicators, etc.
- Install hardware like Heli-Coils, rivets, bushings, pins, and Lee plugs
- Apply sealants and potting materials as required
- Perform laser engraving, ink stamping, or part marking per specs
- Install and test magnets for functionality and quality
- Check parts visually for defects, FOD, and finish quality
- Verify expiration dates for tools, sealants, and materials
What You Need
- 1-3 years of assembly or related experience preferred
- Technical training is a plus
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to read and follow written work instructions and procedures
Physical Requirements
- Able to sit, stand, walk, and use hands frequently
- Lift up to 10 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 25 lbs
- Visual ability for close-up work and inspections
