This position will report to the site's Director of Operations or Glass Seal & Potting Manager and will be located in Burbank, CA.Roles and ResponsibilitiesPrincipal duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned dependent on the department. Day Shift is Monday - Friday, 6:00am – 4:30pm.Potting department Complete various adhesive potting applicationsDeburring Department Examine surfaces in order to find defects.Remove defects and smooth uneven surfacesDeburring, cleaning and removing sharp edges on product partsGrinding Department Work with HAAS machines to grind surface imperfections of partsDeburring, cleaning and removing sharp edges on product partsWork alongside floor supervisors and leads to adhere to production schedules on partsWork alongside quality control personnel, concerning parts or jobs being worked on to maintain the highest quality assurance possible.Train under department Lead to learn assembly functionsRequirements0 - 2 years experience in deburring, potting, or aerospace machining setting.Minimum High school education or equivalent. Machinist trade certification a plus.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.High level of attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.Ability to communicate with others effectively in both written and verbal fashion.CompensationSalary Range: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour. Minimum of ten (10) hours of over-time available weekly.
