About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 15:00 - 03:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years in a large hospital setting with trauma experience required License: Registered Nurse license Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA PALS, RED CROSS NIH, TNCC Must-Have: - Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals - Must be willing to work holidays and every other weekend Description: The Emergency Department provides comprehensive emergency medical services to all age groups. It is staffed 24/7 by a highly trained team to meet the needs of the community. The ED team consists of physicians, nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff. This facility handles over 60,000 patients per year. The nurse to patient ratio ranges from 1:1 for critical and trauma patients to 1:3-4 for other patients. An associate degree in nursing is required. Two years of experience working under the highest level of professional license is required. Trauma experience is essential.
