Support students in achieving their academic and social goals in a dynamic school setting as a contract paraprofessional in the San Francisco area. Key Qualifications:

• Experience working with children or adolescents, preferably in educational or childcare settings

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or related fields is a plus

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support by assisting the lead teacher with instruction, supervision, and daily activities
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who need additional guidance, both academically and behaviorally
• Prepare learning materials and help maintain an organized, safe classroom environment
• Encourage student participation and engagement, reinforcing positive behavior and academic achievement
• Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and adapting teaching strategies as directed
• Support classroom routines, field trips, and transitions throughout the school day
