GTM Business Operations Manager

This role sits on the Go-to-Market Business Operations team, which focuses on increasing revenue growth through sales performance and efficiency of the Enterprise Sales team. This is a remote opportunity open to candidates residing in the US, except the San Francisco Bay Metro Area, NYC Metro Area, and Washington, D.C. Metro Area. In this role you will Partner with Enterprise Sales Leadership, Sales Planning, Sales Operations, Finance, and other cross-functional teams to provide actionable insights into business drivers, financial performance, and risks. Develop and drive high-visibility initiatives to scale performance and productivity to achieve sales growth targets. Analyze and diagnose sales team performance and own analytical models and sources of insights (performance forecasting, productivity models, etc.). Support ongoing business activities and development of executive materials (memos, slides, business reviews, and executive presentations). Identify risks to growth goals and develop action plans to mitigate those risks. Champion, role model, and embed Samsara’s cultural principles (Focus on Customer Success, Build for the Long Term, Adopt a Growth Mindset, Be Inclusive, Win as a Team) as we scale globally and across new offices. Minimum requirements for the role 4-7 years of work experience in a management consulting firm and/or as a Sales Operations / Business Operations or Financial Analyst. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to independently manage multiple projects on a tight deadline. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Advanced decision-making, analytical, and logical reasoning skills, including the ability to be proactive and adapt quickly. Kind and collaborative orientation with ability to work with many teams; sense of humor is a plus. Deep comfort with analytical tools (e.g., Tableau, Excel, Salesforce, Google Sheets, Databricks) and/or willingness to expand skill set to tackle new problems. Experience working with executives and partnering with cross-functional teams. Comfortable with ambiguity and enthusiastic about improving efficiencies and driving growth. Fully fluent in English. Familiarity with the evolving AI tool environment and a curiosity to experiment with AI to solve problems. Compensation and benefits The range of annual base salary for full-time employees for this position is $106,802.50—$161,550 USD. Base pay offered may vary depending on factors including city of residence, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
