Business Operations Manager

Business Operations Manager sought by Artidis, Inc. in Houston, TX. Responsibilities Direct and coordinate activities of businesses or departments concerned with the production, pricing, sales, or distribution of products. Direct and coordinate financial or budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, or increase efficiency. Supervise all business operations for US office for the biotech firm, including procurement, Human Resources and Administration. Review financial statements, sales or activity reports, or other performance data to measure productivity or goal achievement or to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement. Establish or implement departmental policies, goals, objectives, or procedures in conjunction with board members, organization officials, or staff members. Prepare staff work schedules and assign specific duties. Assisting and executing the shipment of medical device from Switzerland to United States along with the transfer of devices from Texas Medical Center to MD Andersen Cancer Center and other research partners. Assist with logistics, planning and coordination of events and conferences that the company part takes in. Special requirements Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Knowledge of adobe acrobat.
