Back Office Medical Assistant

A busy Endocrinology Practice in Scottsdale is currently accepting resumes for full time, back office medical Assistants. New graduates encouraged to apply. Signing bonus paid after 6 weeks of uninterrupted, full-time employment. Retention bonus paid after 90 days of uninterrupted, full-time, employment. Candidates should be compassionate, kind, professional and energetic. EMR experience , medication knowledge, good verbal and written communication skills and routine procedure experience a must. General responsibilities. Escort patients to exam rooms. Record patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files. Ensure all related reports, labs and information is available in patients’ medical records the night before their appointment (Chart Prepping) Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations. Keep exam rooms stocked with adequate medical supplies and properly disposes of contaminated supplies. Maintain all logs and required checks. Responds to telephone messages and provide feedback and answers to patient/physician/pharmacy. Call in and follow up on medication orders and refills. .
