Job Details The Controller will oversee financial operations across two construction-focused businesses supporting concrete and site services. This role is responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and partnering with operations to drive performance and profitability. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Lead monthly and year-end close processes across multiple entities Manage job cost accounting, WIP schedules, and revenue recognition Oversee AR/AP, billing cycles, retainage, and cash flow forecasting Partner with project teams to monitor budgets, margins, and cost performance Maintain internal controls and support audit, tax, and compliance requirements Supervise accounting staff and support process improvements across platforms ________________________________________ Qualifications 5–10+ years of accounting experience, with exposure to construction or related industries Strong understanding of job cost accounting, WIP, and project-based financials Experience in multi-entity or growing platform environments preferred Proficiency in construction accounting systems such as Deltek ComputerEase, Viewpoint Vista, Sage 300, or similar construction ERP systems and Excel Strong communication skills with ability to work closely with operations and leadership To receive a faster response for a qualified candidate only, send resume and projects to: Interested in hearing more?
