Position As a Security Officer Security Clearance Patrol in Fairfax, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aero and defense location as an unarmed patrol officer, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $25.48 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Sat 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and security-related policies at an aerospace and defense location. Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout assigned buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify conditions that may require attention. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document observations, incidents, and security-related concerns according to site procedures. Support emergency response activities, follow post orders, and report hazards, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious behavior to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. An active DoD Secret Clearance is required. A guard card/license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
