Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Services team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in various settings, with a focus on critical care. You will work within a dynamic team that consists of other RRTs and support staff, utilizing advanced equipment and maintaining best practices in the field.

Responsibilities

• Deliver respiratory therapy services to patients across various units including critical care and neonatal/pediatric specialized units.
• Utilize and manage advanced respiratory equipment such as GE R860 and Draeger vents.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.
• Maintain compliance with safety and health regulations and hospital policies.
• Educate patients and families regarding respiratory care and therapies.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active North Carolina Respiratory License.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential.
• Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
