Details Work as an RN Circulator in the CVOR within a Surgical Services department Department includes 15 OR suites, including hybrid and cardiothoracic rooms, along with PACU, sterile supply, pharmacy, and support areas 13-week contract assignment Monday through Friday schedule, 0600-1430 Day shift, 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week Call responsibilities required 1-2 nights per week and every 3rd weekend Requirements Active, unrestricted RN license (KY or compact) required BLS certification required ACLS certification required ADN or ASN required, BSN preferred No prior nursing experience required, though previous nursing experience is preferred Ability to assess age-specific patient safety issues and implement appropriate safety devices Strong communication and collaboration skills with care team members Additional Information Provide direct patient care through nursing rounds, assessments, and treatments in the surgical setting Coordinate care and facilitate admission, transfer, and discharge activities Deliver patient and family-centered education Perform comprehensive patient assessments in accordance with scope of practice and hospital policy Delegate and oversee team members in performance of patient care activities Actively participate in unit-based quality improvement activities and core measures Promote a positive, healing environment through collaborative nursing practice American Traveler Job ID P-744209.
