Main Duties

Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing
Perform patient evaluations by reviewing medical histories and assessing oral health
Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
Instruct patients on effective oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Recognize signs of oral diseases and relay findings to the dentist for diagnosis and treatment planning
Apply preventive materials such as sealants and fluoride treatments
Maintain precise and thorough patient records and documentation
Adhere to infection control measures and sterilization standards
Enhance the patient experience by delivering compassionate and professional care

Qualifications & Skills

Degree or certificate in dental hygiene from an accredited institution and a valid state license
Current CPR certification

Preferred Skills

Bilingual in English and Spanish
Minimum of one (1) year of experience
