This classification is subject to the Post and Bid process. The reporting location for this position is the Gavilan Sector Office, located in San Juan Bautista, California. This position will work under the supervision of the Park Maintenance Chief II.
The Diablo Range District is looking for an observant, responsible individual capable of leading others, working within a team, and taking direct action when called on to get things done. The individual chosen for this position will be responsible for the water and wastewater systems in the Sector. This position directs the work of others in system operations and may be requested to work with or direct staff in system related matters at other Sectors within the Diablo Range District. Training and Development Assignments may be considered. Possession of a valid Class C driver's license is required. You must answer the questions addressing your driver's license on your application. Ensure you provide your driver's license number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions on your application. The selected candidate is required to submit to a background investigation process utilizing Live Scan fingerprinting prior to appointment. This position is designated as not telework eligible.

Per California Code of Regulations (CCR) 599.961 , this is a sensitive position, and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing. This position requires possession of both a T2 and a D2 Water Treatment Operator License.
