• Setting: Community hospital ICU (multi-specialty, medical-surgical) - critical care/ICU role
• Start Date: July 1, 2026
• End Date: December 31, 2026
• Duration: 26 weeks (locum tenens assignment)
• Shift: Full-time night shift (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 shifts per week) - ICU night shift PA position
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,510 - $4,160

• Active Physician Assistant license (national and Georgia state) - PA-C credential preferred
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in an ICU or critical care setting
• Proficiency in ICU procedures, including central and arterial line insertions (case logs required for credentialing)
• Ability to work independently on night shift and collaborate effectively with intensivists, attending MDs, and multidisciplinary ICU teams
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred; strong documentation and order entry skills required

• Manage critically ill patients in a high-acuity ICU (typical census 10-15 patients per APP) with attending physician support
• Collaborate with attending physicians and intensivists to develop, implement, and adjust individualized care plans
• Conduct ongoing patient assessments, interpret diagnostic testing, and communicate findings clearly with ICU nursing staff and consultants
• Complete thorough documentation including H&Ps, consults, event/follow-up notes, procedure notes, and orders in the EMR
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds each shift and contribute to coordinated patient care decisions
• Perform invasive ICU procedures, including central line and arterial line insertions, in accordance with hospital credentialing and case-log requirements
