License & Certification Requirements
  • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • State License: Arizona license required; IMLC LOQ candidates considered
  • DEA: Required
  • Certifications: BLS required
  • Minimum Experience: 1 year required
Call Requirements
  • Call Schedule: 24-hour call coverage
  • Coverage Type: Hospital beeper coverage
  • Minimal PM coverage needs, especially after 10:00 PM
Practice Details
  • Adult patient population
  • Hospital and clinic coverage
  • Department provides 24-hour beeper coverage
  • Clinic availability may be scheduled for approximately 4 days
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Support Staff:
    • APP first assist not available
    • Scrub techs available in OR for case completion
Patient Volume
  • Average surgical cases: 2 per day
  • Average new consults: 6 per day
Procedures & Clinical Requirements
  • Special procedures:
    • Pelvic fractures
    • Acetabular fractures
    • Pediatric orthopedic cases
  • Orthopedic Surgery coverage required
