Maintenance TechnicianWe are seeking a dependable and experienced Maintenance Technician to support our fast-paced distribution center operations. The successful candidate will bring skills in plumbing, electrical, and controls troubleshooting, while maintaining a strong focus on safety and equipment uptime. Responsibilities include maintaining conveyors, dock equipment, HVAC, lighting, and plumbing systems essential to daily warehouse functions.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on:Conveyor systemsDock levelers and doorsHVAC unitsLighting and electrical systemsTroubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including power circuits, breakers, motors, and control panelsComplete routine maintenance and repairs on plumbing systems (e.g., sinks, drains, water lines)Assist with control systems troubleshooting, including sensors, relays, and basic PLC logicPerform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks to reduce downtime and extend equipment lifeEnsure all work meets OSHA safety standards and company policies (including Lockout/Tagout procedures)Record maintenance activities accurately in the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)Respond promptly to maintenance requests from operations and production teamsSupport equipment installations and facility improvement projectsParticipate in safety meetings, audits, and ongoing trainingQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical school or vocational training preferred3+ years of maintenance experience in a warehouse or distribution center settingHands-on knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systemsFamiliarity with control systems and basic PLC troubleshooting preferredStrong attention to safety, quality, and operational uptimeExperience with equipment such as:Forklifts and dock equipmentAutomated conveyors and pallet wrappersCompactors and lighting systemsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in elevated or tight areasStrong communication and organizational skillsPreferred CertificationsOSHA 10 or OSHA 30Forklift and Aerial Lift CertificationElectrical or Plumbing Trade LicenseFirst Aid / CPRLockout/Tagout and Fall Protection TrainingWork EnvironmentFast-paced distribution center with exposure to:Loud machinery and moving equipmentElevated work platformsTemperature fluctuationsPPE required and provided by the companyPosition requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and climbingPay Range USD $28.00/Hr -USD $35.00/Hr.
