Opportunity: Physician - Internal Medicine - Cardiology Job Details: General Cardiologist needed for inpatient hospitalist coverage with day shifts only Schedule is 7 days on / 7 days off, with 2 locums providers offsetting each other Positions available starting as soon as credentialed, with an estimated credentialing timeframe of 60 days 30-40 patient encounters per shift with approximately 20+ calls while on call Must be board certified in Cardiology with active Arkansas licensure required ACLS certification required Inpatient and outpatient cardiology experience preferred, including ICU coverage Non-invasive cardiology skills preferred, including echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology, and STEMI management Invasive diagnostic cardiology skills preferred, including PA catheter placement, IABP placement, cardiac catheterization, and heart biopsy Interventional cardiology skills preferred, including PTCA, intracoronary stent placement, and atherectomy Electrophysiology skills preferred, including cardiac ablation, permanent pacemaker placement, and AICD/ICD implantation Nearest airports are Fort Smith and XNA Lodging available at Homewood Suites Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
