Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair card access, CCTV, burglar alarm, and fire alarm systems
• Perform on-site troubleshooting using technical documentation and established procedures
• Install, program, and commission security and fire systems at commercial sites
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system submittals
• Communicate effectively with customers to ensure high-quality service and satisfaction
• Complete service documentation and obtain customer sign-off after each job
• Maintain tools, test equipment, and vehicle inventory
• Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency service needs
• Follow all company safety standards and applicable codes

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience + 4+ years in the field
• Experience servicing/troubleshooting access control, CCTV, and alarm systems
• Strong knowledge of testing equipment (multimeter, analyzers, commissioning tools)
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call support
• Ability to maintain/obtain required state/local fire and security licenses (KY & OH)
• Knowledge of NFPA standards
• Reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

• Fire alarm system experience (including electronic systems)
• Previous field service or customer-facing experience
• Background working in commercial or industrial environments
