Instrument Assembler (Sparks, MD) Location: Sparks, MD (On-site) Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (flex/extended hours may be required) Pay Rate: $23.00/hr (W2) Type/Duration: Temporary (approx. 52 weeks) Projected Start: May 18, 2026 Openings: 1 About the Role We’re hiring an Instrument Assembler to support the fabrication, assembly, testing, and packaging of medical devices in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with equipment, and a commitment to quality and SOP adherence. Key Responsibilities Assemble, test, and package medical devices following established procedures (SOPs) Set up, operate, perform basic maintenance on, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment Perform in-process quality checks/inspections to ensure products meet specifications Communicate effectively with team members and leads/supervisors Rotate into different tasks/responsibilities as needed to support production Requirements High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of manufacturing/assembly experience Ability to read, write, interpret, and follow specifications in English Basic math skills Comfortable using basic measurement tools (including microscopes) Strong teamwork skills and reliability/attendance Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs occasionally (with reasonable accommodations where applicable) Benefits Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service Interested?
