About the Role:
Eden Center For Integrative Care is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our corrections team in Fort Edward, NY. Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care and nursing services to incarcerated individuals in a correctional facility setting
• Administer medications, treatments, and injections in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Monitor and document patient health status, vital signs, and changes in condition
• Assist with sick call, intake health screenings, and chronic disease management
• Collaborate with physicians, RNs, and mental health staff to coordinate comprehensive inmate care
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid or urgent care as needed
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with HIPAA and facility regulations

Requirements:

• Active New York State Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing
• Prior experience in corrections, behavioral health, or a similar clinical setting preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and composed in high-stress or unpredictable environments
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Ability to pass a background check and meet correctional facility security clearance requirements
