Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care as a RN in an ER/Med/Surg environment, including triage, stabilization, medication administration, and ongoing monitoring; document using Cerner
• Monitor patient status, reassess frequently, and communicate changes to the healthcare team; coordinate orders and dispositions
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and support staff to ensure seamless, interdisciplinary care; may serve as Charge nurse as needed and compensated
• Maintain patient safety and quality standards; ensure compliance with BLS, ACLS, and PALS; TNCC preferred
• Adapt to a high-volume, critical-access ER setting with variable patient flow (up to 200 ER visits monthly)

Requirements

• Active RN license in Kansas
• BLS, ACLS, PALS required; TNCC preferred
• ER and Med/Surg experience; critical-access ER experience and travel experience preferred
• Cerner EMR experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work nights on a 3x12 schedule; capacity to backfill and function in a fast-paced environment
