Human Resources Business Partner

Position: Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) Location: Remote, Texas (within driving distance of a major airport in Texas). Reports To: VP of Human Resources Compensation: $95K - $110K + Bonus Core Responsibilities Strategic HR partner: Build strong relationships with functional leaders, establish credibility and trust as a strategic HR partner. Assess team, manager, and company needs; provide recommendations and implement solutions. Performance Management: Build and evolve performance management practices, coach managers through difficult performance conversations, and develop scalable approaches aligned with company culture. Employee Relations & Risk Management: Offer guidance to leaders in managing sensitive employee situations, act as mediator and investigate escalated issues, stay up to date on legal requirements and partner with legal counsel to mitigate risk. People Operations Expertise: Deep knowledge of People Ops/HR functions including performance management, employee relations, and compliance. Strategic Thinking: Translate business objectives into actionable people strategies. Strong Communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to present and facilitate discussions clearly and confidently. Requirements ~8 years experience with HR/People Ops, supporting teams through periods of growth and change. Strong written and verbal communication skills with emphasis on coaching, facilitation, and policy development. Strong business acumen and principled decision-making balancing business outcomes with employee experience, risk, and scalability. Flexible approach, avoiding rigid adherence to past playbooks or overly process‑heavy solutions. Ability to work in fast‑paced, strategic and hands‑on execution environment. Experience supporting multiple centers across multiple states, different time zones, and high turnover rates. Willingness to spend up to 50% of time traveling to visit centers. Expertise in U.S. employment law, compensation frameworks, training and development programs. Continuous improvement mindset; detail‑oriented and proactively improving processes and team effectiveness. Experience managing complex employee relations issues. Familiarity with Workday and other HR tools. Preferred Advanced degree in HR, business, or organizational development. HR certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP).
