Staff Accountant

About ELMNT IR INC. – We are a rapidly growing, dynamic start-up healthcare services company that has received its initial institutional funding. We provide outpatient interventional radiology services that provide patients greater access to care, with a better patient experience at costs that are lower than in inpatient environments. We currently operate two facilities in Los Angeles and will be rapidly adding centers throughout Southern California and in multiple states. Overview Looking for a dynamic professional who takes initiative and is comfortable in a high paced, high energy start-up environment. Must have prior work experience as a staff accountant, preferably in a healthcare environment. Job Description Staff accountant will be responsible for the following: General Ledger Management: Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all daily and monthly transactions are properly categorized within current chart of accounts. Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Management: Help execute all accounts payable through bill.com and work with our third-party billing company to manage accounts receivables. As we grow we will add staff for these functions. Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies. Financial Reporting: Assist in producing accurate balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Month- and Year-End Close: Support the closing process by managing accruals, amortization, and ensuring deadlines are met. Compliance & Auditing: Prepare schedules and documentation for internal and external auditors to ensure regulatory and financial compliance. Support management with financial planning and analysis as required. Qualifications & Skills Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, Bill.com and Gusto. #J-18808-Ljbffr
