Job Summary Position: Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Surgical Tech. 36 hour rotating schedule, 3 shifts of 12 hours each with on‑call requirements. Sign‑on bonus $10,000. Magnet Designated hospital, first in Massachusetts to use Black Box technology, 16 ORs, 1,000 cases per month. Responsibilities Function as a scrub person during operative and other invasive procedures. Participate in ongoing educational and competency activities. Precept staff to the surgical technician job duties, including surgical technicians, nurses and students. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required. Surgical Technician Certification required. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required. 1 year of Surgical Technician experience preferred. Must present and submit Certification of Graduation from an ARC/STSA‑Accredited Surgical Technology Program or NBSTSA‑Certification conferred by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting.
