Occupational Therapist - Travel Contract

Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist in Clearlake, CA. We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily living and work skills in a hospital setting. This role involves planning and delivering individualized treatment, participating in interdisciplinary care, and documenting progress according to facility and regulatory standards. Minimum Qualifications Master’s or Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree from an accredited program; Bachelor’s acceptable if license was obtained prior to January 2007 or foreign equivalent where applicable. Active California Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. Minimum one year of home health experience as an Occupational Therapist is required. Proficiency with HCHB (Home Care Home Base) electronic documentation system is required. Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per facility policy is required. Valid Driver’s License and must be at least 21 years of age or older. Preferred Qualifications Previous hospital setting experience preferred. Assignment Details Shift hours: 0800 - 1600. Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts. No weekends and no on-call required. Mileage reimbursement provided according to government mileage rate.
