Whether building schools, hospitals, health centers, offices, or airports, we know that what we build in our community matters.What You'll Do At MonteithAs a Project Engineer, you will work closely with the Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to manage many aspects of the construction process. Some of the primary responsibilities of this position are the transmission of various project-related documents, preparing monthly project billings, coordinating and attending meetings with project stakeholders, and acting as a go-to liaison between Monteith Construction and our clients, design partners, and trade partners. Additional responsibilities may include: Enter and organize project documentation including plans, specifications, RFIs, and document revisions. Assist the superintendent and project manager with tracking inspections. Initiate and submit monthly pay applications to ensure positive cash flow on projects.Work with the Project Manager for change order management. Facilitate the weekly or monthly OAC meeting agendas and manage any necessary correspondence. Apply for local and state permits. Lead the project closeout process.Experience You Should HaveRelevant experience or a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field0-3 years in commercial construction Excellent communication skills; both written and oralStrong understanding of the construction processDesire to work in a team environmentAbility to work non-traditional hours when neededRequired to Thrill at MonteithNo Brilliant Jerks.
