MORTGAGE LOAN ORIGINATOR -  Mortgage Spot by Communication Federal Credit Union   

Base Salary + Commission based on funded volume: $50,000–$200,000/year, uncapped

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Mortgage Spot is the newly launched home loan brand of Communication Federal Credit Union – a dedicated mortgage team, an active digital advertising program, and growing network of realtor, builder, and title partners across the OKC Metro. You'll originate under an established, NMLS-registered credit union lender with marketing support and inbound leads of a new brand behind you – not a pure self-sourcing role .

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Build and maintain referral relationships with realtors, builders, and community partners; attend industry events and represent Mortgage Spot in the market.
• Respond to inbound inquiries from mortgagespot.com, ads, email, phone, and walk-ins.
• Interview applicants, evaluate creditworthiness, and recommend right loan program.
• Guide borrowers from application through closing, including TRID disclosures, appraisal ordering, and scheduling.
• Prepare/complete compliant files for underwriting; manage pipeline to on-time closings.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities for credit union products.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Active NMLS registration (or ability to register immediately upon hire).
• 2–3+ years of mortgage origination or closely related experience; proven purchase-business sales success preferred.
• Solid knowledge of mortgage products, processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to juggle deadlines.
• HS diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
